RESIDENCIES

Our residency program is designed to support artists by providing time, space, and resources to develop their practice in a dedicated environment. Through mentorship, experimentation, and access to facilities, residencies encourage artistic growth while fostering dialogue and collaboration. By showcasing the outcomes of these residencies, we create opportunities for artists to share their work with the community, gain visibility, and build connections that strengthen their role within the evolving art scene in Saudi Arabia and beyond.

ALIYAH AL NASSAR

Aliyah has spent a year as a resident at Isdar, dedicating her practice to the creation of miniature ceramics. Throughout her residency, she developed a distinctive body of work that reflects both craftsmanship and innovation. These pieces were promoted and sold at Isdar, offering the community an opportunity to collect and engage with her art, while also highlighting the centre’s role in supporting and showcasing emerging talent.

SEETA SULTAN ALSAUD

Seeta Sultan Alsaud was a resident with us, during which she experimented with printmaking techniques
including silkscreen and etching. Her residency allowed her to explore new creative processes and push
the boundaries of her practice, resulting in a unique collection of prints that reflect both technical skill
and artistic innovation.
